Uplifted

Hot air balloons are not the most efficient way to travel, but in the early 1800’s, they were considered cutting edge technology. No longer were people confined to the ground with its rocks, hills, and canyons. Suddenly, people were lifted high above every obstacle. Visionary designers began sharing their plans for luxurious airships that would provide people with an end to their transportation problems.

While scientific breakthroughs in technology transform our everyday lives in ways that were unimaginable in the past, God’s Word has a way of doing even more. God’s Word has a way of lifting us high above the obstacles of living in a fallen world. Join us for a three-week series about the God who speaks in order to be known and loved and glorified. His Word lifts us up and brings His will into reality. How will He bring His will into the reality of your life?

As for hot air balloons, more efficient air travel may have passed them by, but God’s Word remains forever. From generation to generation, there’s no better way of knowing God than to be uplifted in His Word.
