“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:4, ESV)
As Jesus taught in John 15, He is the vine, and we as followers are the branches. If a branch is disconnected from the vine, it can’t bear fruit—it has lost its purpose. This week, take some time to read John 15 and ask the Lord how He would have you abide in Christ in 2021.
