Elementary Baptism Class

This three-part mandatory class helps third- and fourth-grade children prepare for baptism. The class is open to children in that age range who have trusted Christ as their Savior. Each class lasts approximately one hour. A parent is required to attend each class with his or her child. We also offer a baptism class for preteens (fifth- and sixth-grade children) and a class for teens and adults.
Stonebriar's Policy on Infant Baptism
We believe that baptism is a public statement of faith that can be made only by someone who personally believes in Christ. Infants cannot make that personal decision to believe in Jesus. Older children, however, can make that decision, so we do offer baptism for children in third and fourth grades and older.
We also offer Child Dedication. Child Dedication is a ceremony that signifies the parents' commitment to raise their child in a Christian home and church where he or she can come to know, love, and serve Jesus. It signifies a commitment by the people of Stonebriar to provide a loving, biblical community that supports and prays for the dedicated family.
