Coronavirus Update

Caring for your health and safety

Updated February 11, 2022

As conditions change and evolve surrounding COVID-19 over time, our leadership team continues to prayerfully monitor the situation in our area, taking cues from the latest guidance by trusted sources.

For the health and safety of all attendees, we ask that you follow these guidelines when participating in any programs or events on the Stonebriar Community Church campus:

  • If you are experiencing a fever or any of these symptoms, please remain home.
  • Use the hand sanitizing stations around campus upon arrival and throughout your time here as needed.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or been exposed, we ask that you participate only if you have been quarantined for five days and either wear a mask or have tested negative following quarantine.

We do not currently require masks on our church campus, though we do encourage masks for anyone who is not vaccinated or would feel more comfortable masked. Please visit the CDC website for further guidance on how to protect yourself and others.

If you are in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we would love to see you on our campus in Frisco. You can find details on our Sunday programming and upcoming groups and events here on our website.

If you are more comfortable worshipping and connecting from home or are unable to join us in person, we would love for you to worship online with us on Sundays at 9 a.m. (contemporary service) and 10:45 a.m. (traditional and Spanish services) and join an online group or Bible study.

To everyone in our church family and community, we love you and are praying for all of you. If you have any questions or prayer requests, or if you would like help getting connected on campus or online, please reach out to our staff any time.

Updated August, 2021

As COVID-19 cases rise due to the Delta variant, our leadership team continues to prayerfully monitor the situation and take cues from trusted sources, such as physicians, local school districts, and other governing bodies.

We are not currently requiring masks on our church campus, though we do encourage masks for anyone who is not vaccinated or would feel more comfortable masked. At this time, our church campus is fully open, and our worship services and ministry programs are meeting in person and online.

The following safety measures are in place on our campus to care for the health of our church family and guests:

  • Hand sanitizer stations available throughout each building
  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces
  • Spaced seating encouraged during worship services

Our Response to COVID-19

Following Governor Abbott’s recent announcement, we have revisited our COVID-19 protocols and have made a few adjustments that will come into effect beginning Sunday, March 21. Amid the differing opinions in our community, our goal is to minister to all of our church family members and guests with care and grace.

Beginning Sunday, March 21, reservations will no longer be required for Sunday worship services, adult Sunday Fellowships, or programming for grades first through twelve. Children’s Programming for grades first through twelve will continue to meet during the 10:45 service.

Reservations will continue to be required for ages birth–kindergarten and Special Needs classes for the time being, so to register for Sunday programming please sign up below each week. Registration will continue to open every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The following health and safety protocols will remain in effect:

  • Masks will continue to be strongly recommended for everyone. (Refer to CDC Information on Masks.)
  • Reservations will be required for children’s programming for ages birth through kindergarten and will meet during the 9 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday services.
  • Social distancing will be encouraged in the Worship Center, and our ushers will continue to guide attendees to available seats.
  • Our cleaning staff will continue to regularly sanitize classrooms and frequently touched surfaces such as door handles.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will remain available throughout our church campus.

As always, before you join us on campus, please monitor your family’s health and remain home if any of you develop a fever or other symptoms. We live stream our 10:45 a.m. service every Sunday, so we invite you to worship from home if you are unable to join us in person.

Please continue to join us in praying for our community, nation, and world in the midst of this pandemic. If you have any questions about these changes, please reach out to our staff at info@stonebriar.org.

If you need prayer or assistance, please reach out to our staff through this form so we can connect with you.
