Dr. Ekpedeme Wade is a Nigerian-American physician and licensed professional counselor/ supervisor with a background in family medicine and mental health. Her multicultural upbringing sparked her passion for helping people from diverse backgrounds. After becoming a Board-Certified Family Physician, her desire to offer holistic care led her to obtain a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and eventually found Twelve-Two Christian Counseling.
Dr. Wade also shares her expertise as an Assistant Professor of Counseling Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary-Houston, and she is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In her personal life, Dr. Wade is a devoted wife and mother, finding fulfillment in both her professional and family roles.
