Our Purpose

Stonebriar Young Adults is a community that connects people to God and one another. Anyone within the 18 to 35 age range, whether single or married, is welcome to join us.  Beyond our weekly gathering, we meet up several times a month for fun events. From laser tag and bowling to movie nights and barbecues, every event is an opportunity to build community and form meaningful friendships.

Young Professionals – TWO42 Fellowship

Sundays at 9 a.m. in portable D | ages 22–35

If you’re a single young professional, find community at Two42. This group gets its name from Acts 2:42, so we’re all about God’s Word, fellowship, and prayer. As we spend time in Scripture together on Sundays, you’ll grow to be more like Christ, discover ways to fulfill God’s purpose for your life, and make new friends in the process. And we’re not all work and no play—we spend time together outside the church, too, from barbecues and bowling nights to hikes and service projects.

Transit College Ministry

Transit College Ministry

Thursdays at 7 p.m. in B181 (the HUB) | ages 18–22

Transit exists to empower college students like you to change the world. When you come to Transit, you don’t just go to church—you get equipped to be the church. Transit is an authentic community where we love one another through our flaws and speak the truth in love to the sin in one another’s lives. Whether we’re exploring God’s Word at our Thursday gatherings or spending quality time together outside the church, we make every moment count.

At Transit, you’ll come to Know, Grow, and Do…

    • Know God’s Word and His purpose for your life through corporate and personal time in the Bible
    • Know your identity in Christ
    • Know and be known by other believers through engaging in authentic community

    • Identify the unique way God has gifted you to accomplish the purpose of the church
    • Identify and break down internal barriers that are stumbling blocks to fulfilling your purpose (i.e. fear of failure, perfectionism, sexual immorality, etc.)
    • Develop a biblical worldview
    • Gain the tools to continuously do—and teach others how to do—the previous bullet points in this section

    • Impact the world with the Gospel
    • Be the light wherever you go
    • Be an inclusive community for other believers
    • Participate in Transit group service opportunities
    • Personally serve within the church and/or the city you are in (servant’s heart)
    • Love your neighbor
