Below is a glimpse of God’s abundant love for you. In the Christian faith, we call this the Gospel, which means Good News, and the full story is found in the Bible. If you are new to Christianity or are wondering about who Jesus is, we invite you to read on and discover why the Gospel is the greatest news of all.

A Loving Creator
God is the Creator of everything, including humankind. In the Bible, we see again and again that God is powerful and good, He loves His creation, and He wants what is truly best for us.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1 (ESV)

A Broken Relationship
The first humans rebelled against God, fracturing humankind’s relationship with Him.
“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.”
Romans 5:12 (NLT)

All Have Sinned
All people have sinned by disobeying God’s law, harming others, and failing to do what is right. The just punishment for even one sin is death, both here on earth and by eternal separation from God in hell.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (NIV)

God’s Response toward Our Sin
Even though we have all sinned and rejected God as our Father and King, God loves us. From the beginning, God planned to send His Son, Jesus, to be our Savior.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (NLT)

Jesus Christ Paid Our Sin Debt
As both fully God and fully human, Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died an innocent death on a cross to pay the price for our sin, and rose from the dead, defeating sin and death on our behalf once and for all.
“But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; the punishment for our wellbeing was laid upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5 (NASB)

Jesus’s Sacrifice Covers all Your Sin
If you trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, His sacrifice covers all your sin, and you can live on forever in perfect peace with God in Heaven.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Ephesians 2:8–9 (ESV)

You Can Trust in Jesus
God loves you and wants a relationship with you. This can only be done through believing and trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you from all your sin and give you the free gift of eternal life. Why not trust Jesus today?
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 (NASB)
Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Then tell God through prayer that you believe, and you will be saved. Thank God for sending Jesus to die on the cross and for resurrecting Him from the dead three days later. Jesus has risen from the dead and has defeated death for all who believe in Him! You may want to use this as a guide as you pray:
God, I know I am a sinner. I believe You sent Jesus Christ to die for my sin and to defeat death by His resurrection. Thank You for loving me and giving me the gift of eternal life that Jesus secured for me.
