As a Team Leader for Field Ministry with Cru’s Athletes in Action, Jared leads a staff team on multiple school campuses to help launch spiritual movements of multiplying disciples, aiming toward the goal of reaching every athlete for Christ!
Hailing from the bluegrass state, Jared played basketball for the University of Kentucky and continued playing professionally for six years in many different parts of the world. His love for Jesus began in college on a mission trip with Athletes in Action, and that led him to serving with them today. He wouldn’t want to do anything else! At 7’2″ tall, Jared is easily noticed wherever he goes, but he loves his height and all the new friends it helps him meet!
Jared is married to his lovely wife, Holly, and they have two daughters, Avery and Scarlett.
Hobbies and Interests: Jared is into cooking, grilling, playing strategic games, eating barbecue, and reading books on theology. Holly’s favorite things are baking, Chick fil A, and card games like Hearts and Spades.
