Stonebriar’s fourth annual school supply outreach will equip kids for school and give local families a chance to meet church members, pray, and hear the Gospel. Directed by SCC Hispanic Ministries, the outreach served 110 families last year. Several of those families now attend Stonebriar.

The success of this outreach depends, in part, on school supplies donated by Stonebriar members. Donated items can be left in the shelving units at the church’s two back entrances from July 2–August 4. Supplies will be distributed at the church on August 5.

The following is the list of school supplies needed by pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade students in Frisco Independent School District: baby wipes, ballpoint pens (erasable medium point in black and regular medium point in red, black, or blue), construction paper (12”x18” in assorted colors), Crayola Crayons (16 count and 24 count), Crayola Map Colors (colored pencils), Crayola Washable Markers (classic thick and classic thin), Crayola Watercolor Paints, Elmer’s Glue (4 oz. bottle and large sticks), Fiskars for Kids scissors (blunt tip and sharp tip), folders with brads and pockets (in blue, purple, yellow, green, orange, white, or red), highlighters (assorted colors), index cards (ruled, 3”x5” and 4”x6”), large binder with subject dividers, large box of Kleenex tissue, notebook paper (wide-ruled, 200 sheets), notebook subject dividers, #2 pencils, Pink Pearl eraser, Play-Doh (assorted colors), Scotch tape, Spacemaker 8x5 school box (no handles), spiral-bound notebooks (wide-ruled, 70 sheets, single subject, in red, yellow, blue, or green), spiral-bound notebooks (wide-ruled, 100 sheets, without perforated pages), wooden ruler (12-inch with ⅛-, ¼-, and ½-inch markings), Ziploc freezer bags (quart size), and a zippered school bag.
