Children’s Choirs plan for a big year

- The Stonebriar Childrens Choirs concluded their 2005-06 season with the April 30 concert, Go Against the Flow.
After taking the summer off, Stonebriar’s Children’s Choirs will begin rehearsing again in September. Plans for 2006–07 include a Christmas program on December 10 and a spring musical—complete with actors, sets, and scenes—on April 29.
The Children’s Choirs fall into three age groups. The Kindergarten Choir accepts children who will turn five by September 1, 2006. The Lower Elementary Choir includes children in first and second grades, and the Upper Elementary Choir is for children in third through sixth grades.
The Children’s Choirs will rehearse on Wednesdays beginning September 6. The Kindergarten Choir rehearses from 4:15–5:15 p.m., while Lower and Upper Elementary choirs rehearse from 4:15–5:30 p.m.
The Youth Choir, which includes students in seventh through twelfth grades, rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:45–6:45 p.m., beginning September 6.
