Excavation will soon begin on the west side of the Stonebriar Education Building as the Memorial Prayer Garden takes shape.

The vision for this memorial garden began as friends considered a way to remember gardener Lance Dobbins, a true servant of our church who passed away in December of 2006 at the age of 43, after a two-year battle with cancer. Once the garden is complete, a section of the garden will be dedicated to Lance and will include a bronze art piece titled Gardener at Rest.
 
The whole garden will have small walking paths and a wide range of flowers and plants. This garden area will provide a place for people to pray and remember their loved ones.
