Truffles from Heaven, Mom2Mom Conference

Saturday, March 6 at Stonebriar Community Church
I don’t know about you, but to me there is nothing better than the taste of a fine piece of chocolate. When my day is not going so great, I love to pull out a piece of dark chocolate and savor the flavor. For a few moments my troubles seem to float away.
We can experience the taste of many things, things other than food. The taste of victory is always rewarding. A new baby can bring a new taste for what is important in life. A relationship gone bad can bring a taste of disappointment and perhaps anger. Difficult memories can leave us with a taste of pain and heartache.
Psalm 34:8 says that we are to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” Whether we are experiencing good times or bad, we can always taste the goodness of God through His words to us in the Bible. As we taste His promises and allow them to become a part of who we are, we experience God’s goodness.
The leadership team of Mom2Mom at Stonebriar invites the moms of Stonebriar and our community to attend the 2010 Mom2Mom Conference. Our theme is Truffles from Heaven.
Join us Saturday, March 6, for a day of fellowship, renewing workshops and a refreshing message on tasting the sweetness of God’s goodness and grace in our lives. Choose from ten workshops that cover everything from marriage to decorating on a budget. Author and speaker Kali Schnieders is our keynote speaker. It has been said, “Kali Schnieders is best known for her remarkable ability to inspire people with morsels of encouragement wrapped in humor.”
Registration begins February 1, and early bird registration is $30 until February 19. After that date the price is $40 until registration ends on February 26. Limited childcare is available through online registration. Visit the Truffles from Heaven webpage or use [Keyword: Truffles] to register and find more information about the workshops and schedule.
Join us as we are refreshed by the sweetness of God’s Word! If you have any questions, please contact Dana at m2m@stonebriar.org.
