stonebriar ministries: growing in new ways
Stonebriar's expansion has been clearly noticed on the horizon of the Frisco community for more than a decade. While it is easy to spot an expanding structure, it is not always easy to see the growth inside.
Looking back ten years, involvement was limited to two adult fellowships, classes for children on Sunday mornings only, a choir of about 30 people, and a limited number of serving opportunities, primarily guest services and setting up for Sunday worship.
Today, it is amazing to see how God has inspired in so many ways as we have continued to expand our ministry areas to include Care Ministries, a full range of equipping classes, a missions program, a full choir and orchestra, numerous opportunities for children, students, and parents throughout the week, summer sports camps, a place for special needs adults and children, Hispanic Ministries, and hundreds of opportunities for serving our community and church body through ProjectServe.
On April 26, we hope you will join us for our Ministry Fair. On this day we, in a sense, will "showcase" the ministries of Stonebriar. The Atrium will be filled with booths representing each ministry of the church. If you haven't had a chance to get involved, or have been wanting to learn more about a certain ministry, this is your opportunity. We will have booths for each of these areas: Care Ministries, Children, Community Impact, Equipping, Hispanic Ministries, Missions, Students, ProjectServe, and Worship & Music.
