The first issue of the Stonebriar Connection made its way into the hands of this  congregation in August of 1999. At that time the church met in the gymnasium of the community college; the map on the front page of Issue 1 marked the "future home" of SCC at Lebanon and an unfinished Parkwood Drive. Since then, this monthly publication has featured many testimonies of faith, stories of growth, and snapshots of our congregation. It is exciting to look back through the archives and see the step-by-step changes.

This month, the Connection is coming to you in an entirely new format. As we transition into a magazine-style publication featuring even more stories and photos, and a calendar of events, we hope this becomes a valuable resource for you. Small changes will be made periodically as we “tweak” the new look. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please contact us by e-mail at communications@stonebriar.org.
 
By going to the bimonthly format and making the publication available for pick up at church, we are able to conserve our resources significantly. Copies will be placed in or near each main door; these will also be available at the Information, Guest, and Welcome Centers. Be sure to pick up your copy the first of every other month. (The next issue will come out the first week of June).
