A divorce is tremendously stressful for everyone involved. DivorceCare is a 13-session support group led by others who have experienced divorce and who understand the feelings, issues, and difficulties surrounding it. Videos and small-group discussions offer a Christ-centered focus on topics such as loneliness, anger, and forgiveness.
We offer DivorceCare twice a year, beginning in the spring and the fall.
Starting January 10, we will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in room A211-A213. It helps to start at the beginning of a 13-session class cycle, but please feel free to join us at any time.
DC2: DivorceCare Graduates Group
DC2 is a small Support/recovery fellowship for DivorceCare graduates. Together we will heal, receive help, and regain hope. Join us every Tuesday at 6:30-8:30 p.m. in B151. If you have questions, contact Lauri at laurilstonebriar.org.
Need More Help?
If you have not found the information you need here, call Care Ministries at 469-252-5364, or contact us online. We reply to inquires when staff and volunteers are in the office (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.). If you have an urgent need for pastoral care on a night, weekend, or holiday, call the church's main phone, 469-252-5200, listen to the phone message, and follow the directions for contacting the pastor on-call. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
DivorceCare began again on Wednesday, January 10. Register for the event online or when you attend your first meeting. If you need childcare, please be sure to register online in advance.
There is a $15 fee to cover the cost of your DivorceCare materials. You may purchase the materials at your first class by check or with cash.
