Liz began her work in missions as a volunteer in 1976. Her first "Bible smuggling" trip behind the Iron Curtain came in 1981, with subsequent trips in '85 and '88. After her first trip she began speaking in and around Philadelphia on behalf of the Christians in Eastern Europe.
