Christ and Culture
Taught January 25–March 1 2009

Christians have always had strong opinions about culture. Some have rejected culture while others have embraced it. Yet if a Christian desires to live out their faith authentically, we have to understand our culture.

During this six-week study we discussed our culture and how to make a difference in it. Through this lens we examined how a Christian can appropriately engage with pop culture, music, movies, government and public policy, bio-ethics and human life, and Islam. Sessions were led by SCC staff including: Tony Cammarota, Mark Young, Tom Hayes, and Mary Dean.
