There are children in our backyard who cannot afford a new pair of sneakers or a jacket for the fall and winter seasons.  Clothe a Child exists to provide clothing for children in need from our community.  Area school districts identify children in kindergarten through eighth grade who would benefit from the program.  Local churches and businesses are partnering with Kohl's this year to meet the goal of clothing 2,000 children!

2012 Clothe a Child Events

• Saturday October 6 and 13 at 6 a.m. (Supporting Frisco ISD)
• Saturday October 27 at 6 a.m. (Supporting Little Elm and Prosper ISD)

Children and their families receive a $100 clothing voucher when they arrive at the Kohl's in Frisco.  Families are paired with volunteers who will help them shop. 

If this is your first time volunteering for Clothe a Child, please plan to attend a Volunteer Orientation Meeting. This meeting is mandatory for all first-time volunteers and recommended for all returning volunteers as well. The meeting will last about one hour and will provide you with all you need to know to be prepared for Saturday morning.  There will be plenty of time for your questions. 

There will be two volunteer meetings; please attend the one most convenient for you.
