This ministry focuses on providing opportunities for people to experience community within our church, and also encourages individuals to serve the Frisco area in real and practical ways.

Community Impact is all about showing the love of Christ to those around us. We do this by creating opportunities for people to experience community here at Stonebriar as well as reaching out and serving our community. We offer events where people can get to know the church and our Stonebriar family and feel comfortable inviting friends, neighbors, or co-workers. 

Some of the events we host for the women of our church and community include Summer Escape, Women of Faith, Sweet Celebration, and our Spring Retreat. We also offer an encouragement group, Reach Up Reach Out, for those seeking employment. In the future we desire to create more events that will reach out to couples and families.

We believe there are many ways to get plugged in and truly impact our community. These include Clothe-A-Child, an opportunity to address the clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children in the community; and Frisco Family Services Center that provides social services to individuals and families in need and assists them in becoming productive members of the Frisco Community. 

Beyond These Walls

Beyond These Walls is a new Community Impact group that will focus on ministering outside the walls of this church. This group is for people from all ages and walks of life. Beyond These Walls meets each Sunday in Portable A at 12:15 p.m., after  the second service, for a time of worship, Bible devotion, prayer, and outreach planning. 

Isaiah 58:10 has been a wonderful reminder for all of the members of this group to be part of something larger than themselves, "and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."
