Go and Be
Saturday, May 5, please join Stonebriar as we "GO" into our communities and “BE” the Church as we seek to make a difference in our communities! Our desire is to show Christ-like love to the hurting and lost as we show them that the Church cares about them. We also hope this will be a catalyst for our congregation, as well as individuals, to become involved in long-term, relational, intentional service to those in our community.
Whatever your skill set or interest, Go and Be has something for everyone—singles, families, couples, and friends of all ages. Join us on Saturday, May 5, at 8:30 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room, where we will pray together and receive our assignments.
Service Projects
Here at the church, we will sort and pack shoes for children and clothing for the homeless and write cards to thank and encourage our soldiers, shut-ins, and missionaries. Others will go out and help with yard work and maintenance projects at places in the community that care for the elderly and the homeless.
Blood Drive
Give the gift of life by being a blood donor. Carter Blood Center will have its mobile unit at the church on Saturday, May 5. Appointments will be available between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
