Frisco Family Services Center
Stonebriar's Community Care Ministry provides opportunities to experience community within our church and encourages individuals to serve the Frisco area in practical ways. One way to serve the community is by partnering with Frisco Family Services Center. In the past year, FFSC saw a 52 percent increase in new families seeking assistance.
Through FFSC we can reach out with love to our neighbor in tangible ways to provide food, clothes, furniture, and even emergency assistance to low-income households in Frisco.
Fill The Pantry at Frisco Family Services Center
"Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34
Join us as we partner with Frisco Family Services to help fill their pantry with food items and cleaning supplies. Because of lower food donations during the summer and a 23 percent increase in food being distributed, FFS is asking the community to help by donating 60,000 pounds of non-perishable food and other household staples from July-September to help feed our neighbors in need.
Here is a list of items urgently needed.
Please purchase regular sized food and cleaning supplies. You can drop off these items at Frisco Family Services Center Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How You Can Help
Serving provides a rewarding opportunity for the people of Frisco to reach out to other residents in a meaningful way.
- Frisco Food Pantry: Take the food pantry list to the grocery store to help you choose foods to donate to the food pantry. All items should be taken directly to the food pantry at 9085 Dogwood Street (next to Frisco Resale Store), which is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m.–5 p.m. and Wednesday until 6 p.m.
- Frisco Resale Store: Frisco Resale Store sells donated furniture, appliances, household goods, clothing, and toys. FFSC provides vouchers to qualified families and individuals to shop in the stores. All proceeds are used to help fund programs provided by the agency. See their Donation Policies. The new Frisco Resale store is now open. You can visit them at 9125 Dogwood Street Frisco, Texas 75033.
