Wednesday Bible Studies
Join us for life-changing studies in small groups that refresh, challenge, and grow our faith. Get connected with a small group of women as you study the Word together. Experience worship and drama designed to lead you into the presence of God, followed by a teaching time presenting practical truths that we can apply to our everyday lives. We offer two meeting times for Wednesday Bible studies—morning and evening. We meet September through May, with breaks during the Christmas holidays.
Summer 2012 Studies: June 20 - July 25
Our summer Bible study begins on Wednesday, June 20, and continues through July 25. We will not meet on Wednesday, July 4. You can choose to attend either in the morning or evening by registering online. Please register for childcare first.
Wednesday mornings (9:30–11:30 a.m.), child care available
Cappuccino with Colossians, taught by Arlene Johnson and Lida Lindley
“Who does the Bible say Jesus is? Human? God? Both? Many have tried to rework His identity, insisting that He walked on ice, not water; that He was married to Mary Magdalene; that He was in cahoots with, not betrayed by, Judas; and that He didn’t take on human flesh, that He was only a spirit. These ideas are nothing new; they’re simply old deceptions repackaged. First-century believers in Colossae had challenges of their own from those who held to early forms of Gnosticism. Through his letter to them, the apostle Paul helps the Colossians, and consequently us, to see Christ in His true glory as firstborn, as master, as Lord, and as God.” Sandra Glahn
Purchase your study guide, Cappuccino with Colossians, by Sandra Glahn, for $11 when you first attend.
Wednesday evenings (7–8:30 p.m.), no child care available
