Special Needs Suite (ages 9 and younger in room C101)
The Special Needs Suite offers sensory toys that challenge and calming places to retreat. This classroom is ideal for children, ages nine and younger, who benefit from individual attention and smaller classroom sizes. Children learn Bible lessons, make crafts, and enjoy activities, snacks, and playground time. One of our children’s playgrounds was specifically designed for use by those with or without restrictions.
The Special Needs Suite also serves as the check-in location for all children with Special Needs during Sunday mornings and events throughout the week. Reserved parking and curb-side drop off are available.
Buddy Program (all ages)
With the help of Buddies, many children with special needs are able to attend our regular classes. Buddies are teen and adult volunteers who stay by your child’s side and assist with activities. Buddies are also available for other church activities throughout the week.
Tweeners Class (ages 10–15 in room B150)
The Tweeners class provides relevant Bible lessons, worship time, and activities.
John 9:3 Class (ages 16–adult-room B151/152)
The John 9:3 class meets during the 10:45 a.m. service in Room B151-152. This class provides relevant Bible lessons, worship time, and activities for teens and adults with special needs.
Adult Fellowship Groups
With previous arrangements, adults with special needs may attend one of the many adult fellowship groups offered on Sunday mornings. This is made possible by Bridge Builders, designated volunteers from each class who welcome adults with disabilities and help them get to know others.
Moms of Special Needs Prayer Time
This group meets on the first and third Sundays of the month, during the 10:45 a.m. service, in room A216. Moms of Special Needs Prayer Time is devoted to praying for our Special Needs Ministry and families.
