Sunday-Morning Programs
Newborns Through Fifth-Graders
During the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. service times, we offer a separate classroom (Room 148/150) for newborns through fifth-graders who can benefit from individual attention or a smaller classroom size. Classes generally include music, a Bible lesson, snack, and playground time.
We can help children be included in regular classes by providing them with an adult buddy. Parents who want to explore inclusion in regular Sunday classes can contact the Special Needs Ministry to discuss options.
Preteens and Young Teens
During the 9:30 a.m. service time, we offer a separate classroom (Room 213) for 12- to 15-year-olds who have special needs that require individual attention or a smaller classroom size.
We also can help youth who want to be included in regular classes by providing them with a peer buddy. Parents who want to explore inclusion in regular Sunday classes can contact the Special Needs Ministry to discuss options.
Older Teens Through Adults
During the 11:15 a.m. service time, we offer a separate class for older teens and adults with special needs. The class is called the John 9:3 Class and meets in Building E-1.
Inclusion in the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. adult fellowship groups is another option. This is made possible by designated volunteers from each adult class. Called Bridge Builders, these men and women welcome adults with disabilities and help them get to know others in the class.
