Special Needs Sunday - April 15, 2012

In the spring, we dedicate one Sunday to worship and serve along with the many members of our Special Needs Ministry. On Special Needs Sunday, talented children, teens, and adults, sing, read Scripture, and serve as ushers and greeters. During this day, we also raise money to help send special needs families to camp. Colorful note cards, designed by our special needs children and adults are sold. A pack of 8 uniquely-designed cards is $5.

Fun Zone - Saturday Evenings

FunZone is an opportunity for special needs children and their siblings to enjoy fun activities while parents enjoy an evening to themselves. Fun Zone is held the second Saturday of each month, January-May and September-November. Invites are emailied to Stonebriar families two weeks prior to each event. Reservations are required and space is limited. 

Joni & Friends Family Retreat-Register in February for Camp June 20-24, 2012.

Christmas Dinner and Talent Show - December 1, 2012

At our Christmas Dinner and Talent Show, families and volunteers enjoy fellowship and fun activities, applaud their children, and celebrate Christ.

Art Classes and Art Show

Art classes for teens and adults are held on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a $30 fee to help cover the cost of supplies. Space is limited and registration is required. At the conclusion of each session, students are given the opportunity to showcase their paintings during an Art Exhibit.

Churchwide Events and Activities

We encourage anyone with special needs to participate in our many churchwide events and activities. This is made possible by prearranging a Buddy, a teen or adult volunteer dedicated to staying beside your loved one and assisting them.
