Special Events

Adolescents have a strong desire to feel connected to a group of peers. Special events provide a unique opportunity for preteens to experience that sense of belonging, build relationships, and have fun while they grow in Christ.

Each year, the Preteen Ministry offers a variety of special events for preteens and their parents: summer camp, all-nighters at the church, Family Fun Nights, and father-son and mother-daughter retreats.

Preteen Camp is an annual event; this year's camp will be at the beautiful Lakeview Camp in Waxahachie, Texas. The Preteen Camp is for kids who have graduated fifth and sixth grade. The cost is $250 per child, which covers food, lodging, transportation, materials, activities, and a Preteen Camp T-shirt.
