Evening Program (Awana)

Awana is a parent-driven ministry that shapes your child through the limitless power of God’s Word. Awana staff and trained leaders, together with parents, create a spiritually nurturing environment to help kids grow in their knowledge of Scripture and their walk of faith.

Awana is open to children ages three years through fourth grade. Kids don’t have to attend Stonebriar to participate. We offer Awana on Sundays (5-6:30 p.m.) and Wednesdays (7–8:30 p.m.) during the school year. You can choose to bring your child on either night. Preregistration is required.

Registration for 2007-2008

We are currently accepting registrations for Awana, but cannot guarantee placement at this time. We are actively looking for adult Awana volunteers, and as volunteers commit, more children will be placed.

The starting dates for 2007-08 Awana program are August 26 (Sunday evening) and August 29 (Wednesday evening).

In mid-August, those children who have been placed will receive a postcard notifying them of their room assignments. Any children not placed will receive a letter explaining that they are on a waiting list.

Please contact Children's Ministries at 469-252-KIDS (5437) if you have any questions concerning Awana.
