Evening Program (Awana)
Awana
Awana registration is now open. Please download this registration form and bring it, along with payment to the Children's Ministries office.
Please note, placement is not guaranteed until Awana volunteers are secured. Although, if you serve in Awana, your child will be placed.
For more information, please contact Kristi at 469-252-5349.
Awana is a parent-driven ministry that shapes your child through the limitless power of God’s Word. Awana staff and trained leaders, together with parents, create a spiritually nurturing environment to help kids grow in their knowledge of Scripture and their walk of faith.
Awana is open to children ages three years through fourth grade on Wednesday evenings, and three years through sixth grade on Sunday evenings. Children don’t have to attend Stonebriar to participate. We offer Awana on Sundays (5-6:30 p.m.) and Wednesdays (6:30–8 p.m.) during the school year. You can choose to bring your child on either night. Preregistration is required.
Registration for 2009-2010
We are currently accepting registrations for Awana, but cannot guarantee placement at this time. We are actively looking for adult Awana volunteers, and as volunteers commit, more children will be placed.
The starting dates for the 2009-10 Awana program are Sunday, August 23 (5-6:30 p.m.) and Wednesday, August 26 (6:30 - 8 p.m.).
In mid-August, those children who have been placed will receive a postcard notifying them of their room assignments. Any children not placed will receive a letter explaining that they are on a waiting list.
Please contact Children's Ministries at 469-252-KIDS (5437) if you have any questions concerning Awana.
