Resource Ministries
The mission of Stonebriar's Resource Ministries is to serve and support all departments and ministries of Stonebriar Community Church with efficiency, excellence, and with reverence for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In executing this mission, our vision is to expand ministry support through the maximum capabilities of the Finance Department, Communications, Information Technologies, Building Management, and Human Resources, as the future dictates. To be on the cutting edge of technology and design. To evaluate and re-evaluate staff needs, hiring and benefits, while providing the best possible environment for SCC employees. To engineer and implement a volunteer program that will support the needs of ministry with efficiency and excellence. To work closely with the Senior Executive Pastor in all aspects of ministry. To provide better and more efficient reporting capabilities. To make the work of ministry seamless through our efforts. To become a vital part of God’s work, and by so doing, serve our Savior.
The Resource Ministries Team reviews goals and objectives on a daily and weekly basis to ensure that we are on task to maintain spiritual balance along with administrative responsibilities. We are a continually busy group, investigating, innovating, and exploring technologies and procedures that will benefit the staff, the congregation, and most important—the Kingdom. ProjectServe, the new website, and the Shelby check-in system are just a few of the programs put into place this year. And, as always, require constant updating and maintenance. In all, it has been another terrific and productive year, culminating with the Lord’s continued blessings in revenue, along with expense savings.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our staff, our elders, our congregation, our Senior Pastor and our Lord and Savior.
