Sunday Elementary

Kindergarten Through Fourth Grade

The overview below explains Elementary programs. Your child will find welcoming arms and biblical instruction in classes offered during all three worship services—8, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m. We also have Sunday programs for preschool children, preteens (fifth- and sixth-graders), and for children with special needs.

Sunday Mornings: Summer 2008

The Neighborhood (8, 9:30, 11:15 a.m.)

This summer, the Sunday-morning program for elementary children is called The Neighborhood. Offered at 8, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m.The Neighborhood is a high-energy mix of teaching, music, drama, games, activities, and team competitions. It will be led by teams of fifth-grade graduates. These students, called The Neighborhood Crew, will meet weekly to pray, plan, and practice for the following Sunday.

The summer program will be active; so children are encouraged to dress casually.

The Neighborhood for Kindergarten Graduates (8, 9:30, 11:15 a.m.)

Kindergarten graduates (children who will enter first grade in Fall 2007) will experience their own special version of The Neighborhood at 8, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m. Program details will vary some depending on the classtime, but they all will include the same basic theme and elements.
