Home & Auto Repair

The HOME Team is a group of Stonebriar volunteers who can help you with simple home and auto repairs. For more complex problems, they can recommend a solution and help you find a reputable repairman. The HOME Team also forms teams of skilled volunteers for larger service projects and maintains a referral list of reasonable, reliable businesses that handle auto and home repairs.

The HOME Team helps Stonebriar members, regular attendees, and people who have been referred to Stonebriar. Anyone can ask for a referral, but hands-on assistance is limited to people who cannot afford or complete repairs without help.

To Request a Referral

If you simply need the name of a reputable service provider, call us in Care Ministries at 469-252-5364, or contact us online. We reply to inquires when staff and volunteers are in the office (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.).

To Request Direct Assistance

  1. Submit an application.

If you need direct assistance from the HOME Team, download the HOME Team Application, fill it out, and fax it to the administrative assistant in Care Ministries at 469-252-5255, or deliver the completed application to the church office (location).

  2. Wait while we review your application.

As part of this process, we will contact you to discuss your application in person. Please remember that filling out an application does not guarantee that help can be provided. Once a decision is made, the administrative assistant in Care Ministries will contact you.

  3. Contact your HOME Team volunteer.

If your application is approved, we will put you in touch with a HOME Team volunteer who can advise you on your home- or auto-repair need.
