Moms of Young Kids

Mom2Mom

The Mom2Mom team invites moms with newborns to middle-school-age children to come and enjoy refreshment, encouragement, and instruction in this interactive and practical group for moms with young children. We meet every Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30, September through May.

A refreshing gathering, Mom2Mom encourages development of friendships in a relaxed setting with food, time for discussion, Bible study, and a variety of gifted speakers. Our program rotates Bible study one week and general-interest speakers and fellowship on alternate weeks. Childcare is provided for the little ones during the morning.

2009/2010: September 11–May 7

This year’s theme is Feasting on the Goodness of God, "O taste and see that the LORD is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him" (Psalm 34:8).

Encouragement Fridays

Join us this year as we gather for relevant topics and times of encouragement. The dates for Encouragement Fridays in 2009 are September 11 and 25, October 9 and 30, November 13, and December 4. 

The 2010 dates are January 8 and 29, February 12 and 26, March 26, and April 23. The Mom2Mom year concludes with our special Spring Tea on May 7.

Bible-Study Fridays

In fall 2009, the first Bible study Friday is September 18. We are studying the fruit of the Spirit through reading Elizabeth George's book, A Woman's Walk with God, Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit. Books are available for purchase for $10 at the first Encouragement Friday on September 11.

Bible study dates for 2009 are September 18, October 2 and 16, November 6 and 20. The 2010 dates are January 22, February 5 and 19, March 12,  April 16 and 30.

Steps to Joining Mom2Mom

  1. Need Childcare?

    Childcare is currently at capacity so reservations for childcare are not being accepted at this time.

  2. Register for Mom2Mom.

    Register to attend.

  3. Attend your first Mom2Mom meeting.

    Get directions to Stonebriar (location), and confirm the meeting room and time on our calendar. The group meeting time and room number are also displayed on monitors inside the building main entrances.
