Stuff from Staff
You are on the blog now. It's stuff from the hearts and minds of Stonebriar staff. It is more people's views than anything else, but we wouldn't have hired these folks if they didn't agree with the core beliefs we hold true. This blog is a casual forum for polite, open discussion, not a platform for pronouncing doctrine. Know that what you read here is opinion and not the official position or teachings of the church.

The team has arrived in Poland

Thank you to all who are praying for our short term missions teams that are participating in efforts to reach All People, All Places.  I received this email from the missionary in Poland, Rebecca LeMaster, who is coordinating our involvement in Poland. Rebecca is overseeing an English language camp for adult women in Poland. Our team from SCC will not only teach the language classes, but also live with the Polish women for the week. Please pray that God will build the relationships quickly between our the Polish women and our team.

“Just wanted to let you know that all the SCC ladies made it safely to Poland – on time and with luggage. They were a bit weary but in good spirits and now enjoying the cool temps here in Wroclaw – overnight lows in the 50’s F.

Tonight all the native speakers (from Texas and Arkansas) went to dinner together and enjoyed the good opportunity to start building one team of leaders for the camp. Stonebriar has sent a nice group of ladies for the women’s camp and I look forward to spending the week with them. Now that I’ve met them I believe God has directed us here in Poland as we selected who the Polish women would share a room with at camp. So far I feel the choices have been good ones. I’m praying that all of us will have opportunities to share God’s love and His personal concern for the Polish ladies during the week.”
